This coin was issued on 1st January 1981, though the year of issue on the coin is 1980, to highlight the importance of rural women advancement. The obverse of this Cu-Ni round coin shows a women using an  electric husking machine in the fore ground and electric pylons are shown in the back ground. The year of issue 1980 is depicted below and inscriptions on either side read "Rural Women's Advancement" in English on the right side and "Gramina Mahilayo ki Pragati" in Hindi on the left.

This coin was issued on 16th October 1981 to commemorate the 1st World Food Day with the aim  to highlight the nature and shortage of food in the world and to fight against hunger. The obverse of this Cu-Ni round coin shows a man carrying a sheaf of corn on his shoulder and a woman carrying a basket of fruit on her waist, with inscriptions "World Food Day" and "Wiswa Khadya Diwas" towards the left of the couple and the year of issue 1981under the couple.

This coin was issued on 19th November 1982 to commemorate the IX Asian Games that were held at New Delhi. The obverse of this Cu-Ni round coin shows Jantar Mantar the logo of the games with Sun above it and "Delhi" and "1982" below it and "IX Asian Games" toward the right and "Nawam Ashiyayee Khel "towards the left.

This coin was issued in 1985 to highlight the importance of conservation of forest and wildlife. The obverse of this Cu-Ni coin shows a tree in the background, with a deer, bird and woman weaving baskets in the fore ground. The year of issue 1985 below it and inscriptions "Vikas ke liya Vaniki" and  " Forestry for Development" on the top and bottom.
